The Wilson Airless Basketball is one of the most iconic additive manufacturing achievements in consumer sports. SNL Creative produced the lattice-shell basketballs using SLS with PA2200 nylon, then processed each ball through our DyeMansion Powerfuse S VaporFuse Surfacing system to eliminate layer lines and seal the surface — followed by DeepDye Coloring to achieve the deep crimson, black, and natural colorways. Full production runs demanded precise dimensional repeatability and surface consistency at scale.
Hundreds of parts per run. COA Fishing partnered with SNL Creative to produce their rod handle components in SLS using TPU 1301 — an elastic, rubber-like nylon that delivers flexible, tactile grip geometry impossible to replicate with traditional injection molding at this complexity and volume. DyeMansion deep dye finishing delivers consistent color across every batch.
Precision structural components for film production using Nylon 12CF — carbon fiber reinforced nylon that delivers exceptional stiffness-to-weight ratio. Ideal for production fixtures, camera rigs, and structural props that must hold tolerance under load while staying lightweight on set.
From design to packaged consumer product, SNL Creative produces Motocutz's eBike headlight shield using SLS with PA12 — delivering smooth, durable end-use parts in both white and matte black colorways. No tooling costs, no minimums, and a process that scales with demand. DyeMansion post-processing ensures a consistent, market-ready surface finish.
SNL Creative partnered with Totem to produce the official collectible figures for Jean Dawson's Glimmer of God album release. Each figure is SLA resin 3D printed at high resolution to capture every sculpted detail, then individually hand-painted — making each piece uniquely one-of-a-kind. Produced at volume to support a major record release, this project demonstrates SNL Creative's ability to deliver large-run art collectibles that maintain the character of handcraft at production scale.
SNL Creative produces full-color, high-resolution animatronic eyes using PolyJet multi-material resin printing. Each eye is printed with photorealistic iris detail, anatomically accurate sclera geometry, and precise dimensional tolerances required for animatronic mechanisms. The Stratasys J750's ability to jet multiple materials simultaneously allows us to achieve realistic color gradients, translucency, and surface texture in a single build — no painting, no post-coloring. These production eyes are deployed in professional character rigs and entertainment installations.
