On the online instant quoting tool enter your Email Address and Phone Number. Double-check that your email is typed correctly, as this is where your access code and final quote PDF will be sent.

2. Receive Your Confirmation Code

Immediately after submitting your details, check your inbox. You will receive an automated email from SNL Creative containing a unique 6-digit Confirmation Code.

  • Check Spam: If you don’t see the email within 60 seconds, check your “Junk” or “Promotions” folders.

  • Note: This code is valid for a single session to ensure your intellectual property and project details stay protected.

Step 1: Prepare and Upload Your 3D Files

The calculator is designed to handle high-resolution 3D models. To get an accurate quote, ensure your files meet the following criteria:

  • Accepted Formats: .stl .obj .stp .iges .3mf

  • Size Limit: Individual files up to 1000 Mb can be processed directly.

  • Action: Simply drag and drop your files into the upload zone or click “Browse Files” to select them from your computer.

Step 2: Configure Project Specifications

Once the file is analyzed, you will need to define the parameters that influence cost and production time:

  • Select Technology: Choose from available processes like SLS (Selective Laser Sintering), SLA (Stereolithography), or FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling).

  • Material Choice: Pick the specific resin or thermoplastic (e.g., Nylon 12, PA11) required for your part’s mechanical needs.

  • Finishing Options: Indicate if you require post-processing such as vapor smoothing, dyeing, or bead blasting.

 

Step 3: Instant Costing and Review

The system will automatically calculate the volume, surface area, and material usage to provide an Instant Quote.

  • Verify Dimensions: Double-check the bounding box dimensions displayed to ensure the scale of your model was imported correctly (e.g., mm vs. inches).

  • Quantity: Adjust the quantity to see how unit costs scale with volume.

  • Lead Time: Adjust the lead time to see how delivery affects your costing

Step 5: Finalize and Checkout

If using the web interface, click “Add to Cart” or “Proceed to Checkout.” For large-scale projects or files exceeding 10MB that require manual review, you can email your quote ID directly to orders@snlcreative.com.
